2024 Invitation to Open Nordic Junior Championships regatta

Nordic Rowing Federation together with Danish Rowing Federation invite all Junior u/19 rowers to participate in the 2024 Open Nordic Rowing Regatta. The championships are scheduled to occur on Sorø Lake at the same time as the Sorø Regatta, set for Saturday, July 6th, and Sunday, July 7th, 2024.

Worldrowing Umpiring

Nordic Umpire Commission covering all of the Nordic Rowing Umpires under Nordic Rowing Federation confirms that the following Worldrowing umpire events will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2024:

The 2024 Nordic Junior Championships will take place as part of the Sorø Regatta July 6/7 2024 in Denmark.

Nordic Rowing Federation wish everyone interested in Nordic rowing a happy New Year. 2024 is a special year for rowing as the Paris Olympics will take place in July and qualification for an olympic spot is well on its way. We look forward to a strong nordic rowing representation.

The year is also the beginning towards the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles where races in Coastal Boats will be held. This is also an added opportunity for nordic rowers to start focusing on this rowing discipline.

Nordic Rowing Junior Championships 2023

At the 2023 Open Nordic Junior Championships held in Stockholm, Sweden the competition for the prestigeous Nordic Cup trophy was tight up to the last championship race JM8+ which was won by Denmark ahead of Norway. Final result in the Nordic Cup was no.1 Denmark, no.2 Norway, no.3 Sweden, no.4 Finland

2023 – Nordic Rowing Masters Regatta 

A chance for all Masters rowers to race in Copenhagen in the 2023 Nordic Masters Regatta from the 25.08 to 27.08.2023 at Lake Bagsværd in Copenhagen.
